Throughout his career, Faisal has led high-impact initiatives for leading financial institutions across North America. His ability to break down complex systems and drive strategic execution has consistently resulted in on-time, within-budget delivery. Drawing on in-depth knowledge of FIS’s Merchant Processing Platform and Open Payments Framework (OPF), Faisal offers clients uniquely valuable perspectives and a track record of successful transformations.
Prior to launching his own firm, Faisal served as a Portfolio Manager at FIS, where he managed enterprise-scale programs from inception through delivery. He led weekly governance sessions, facilitated monthly business reviews, and oversaw go-to-market planning, operational rollout, and stakeholder alignment. His strengths in program risk management and strategic communication allowed him to connect project delivery with broader business outcomes.
Faisal’s foundation was built through key roles at Scotiabank and TD Bank Merchant Services. At Scotiabank, he developed and implemented POS deployment strategies for EMV chip-enabled devices across the Caribbean, managing the full project lifecycle in collaboration with First Data. At TD, he managed multiple strategic projects—most notably the HSBC Private Label Cards initiative—where he streamlined vendor collaboration and reduced project budgets by 50% through efficiency improvements.
